Annotation:

The issue of insufficient personnel involvement in occupational risk identification processes at industrial enterprises, resulting in an incomplete and unreliable picture of hazards, is considered. The use of a digital tool, specifically a Telegram bot that integrates risk assessment algorithms based on the Monte Carlo and GUM methods, is proposed as a solution.
The goal of the study is to assess the long-term impact of this tool on risk detectability through a comparative analysis of near-miss data before and after its implementation. The methodology includes key metrics comparison: the total risk level, the number of reports, the number of active reporters, the structure of risks, using Student’s t-criterion and Pirson’s χ² criterion to assess the statistical significance p. According to the results, in a year after the implementation, the total risk level grew by 270 % (p < 0.001), whereas the number of reports grew by 450 % (p < 0.001). The average risk level increased by 33 % (p < 0.05), which is interpreted in the context of the ConocoPhillips Marine incident pyramid: when the base of the pyramid is reduced, the probability of accidents at its top decreases.
The data obtained served as substantiation for transitioning to the proactive management model, aiming to reduce the base of the accident pyramid. A conclusion has been drawn that digitalization through available messenger interfaces helps obtain a comprehensive risk picture, which can serve as a reliable basis for management decision-making.
