The study is dedicated to the identification and description of differences in psychosocial factors of professional stress and functional state levels among truck drivers of logging and diamond mining productions in the Far North. The study
was implemented via logging site visits in 2024 and diamond mining site visits in 2025. 75 male truck drivers aged from 32 to 53 participated in the study. The research methods included: hardware psychophysiological methods of state assessment using the Psychophysiologist device (level of functional state, operator performance); psychological testing methods: M. Luscher color test, State Scale, and the method of differentiated assessment of conditions of reduced working capacity (DASRP); questionnaires using the author’s questionnaire and the general work psychosocial factor survey QPSNordic; the statistical analysis was conducted using the software package SPSS 26.00.
It has been found that truck drivers of the logging enterprise featured a less favorable state than the diamond mining production truck drivers. Differences between the two groups regarding such key blocks of social factors as role expectations, job requirements, job forecasting, professional skills, social interaction, management, job control, organizational culture, organizational commitment, work motivation, and group work have been established.
