Statistical Analysis and Forecasting of Occupational Injuries at a Machine-Building Enterprise

Annotation:

Statistical analysis of injuries was carried out at one of the largest enterprises in the Rostov region for the period from 2011 to 2022. Various factors influencing the indicators of the degree of hazard of working conditions when designing machines and units are covered. The analysis data on the number of victims of industrial injuries by gender, age and work experience in the organization, as well as on the number of victims by type of injuries and by profession, as a result of which it was revealed that the most at risk of injury are employees of the professions «Locksmith», «Driver», «Carpenter» and «Blacksmith» aged from 36 to 50 years with work experience from 6 to 20 years.
The data on the number of victims for the reasons that led to an injury at work are analyzed, on the basis of which, of all the causes of injuries at the plant, unsatisfactory organization of work and violation of labor production discipline can be identified as the main ones. The methods of mathematical statistics revealed the relationship between the number of injuries and indicators that affect the degree of hazard of production, on the basis of which the efficiency of measures to regulate and reduce injuries was assessed. The most probable values of the number of injuries that may occur in the next 8 years were obtained.
