Analysis of Conducting Investigation of Work Injuries in the Countries of the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development and Eurasian Economic Union

Annotation:

Analysis of the international and national practice was conducted, which shows that the qualified and open-minded investigation of work injuries is of primary importance for work injuries prevention. At conducting a superficial investigation and formal finding out of the causes, the potential danger of employee injury remains, which can result in recurrence of similar work injuries with more serious consequences.

For the objective of substantiating the main provisions and conclusions regarding the problems of the work injuries, the experience was studied concerning the member countries of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development and Eurasian Economic Union on conducting investigations of the work injuries and presenting final reports of the results. Basic principles and goals of injury investigation in the countries of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development that are of practical interest to the Republic of Kazakhstan are identified. Proposals were developed related to improving the forms of the presentation of materials for investigation of work injuries in the Republic of Kazakhstan, in particular, the forms of act of a work injury, act of special investigation of an injury.
